Signing out and logging back in

If you’re on a PC, the very first thing you should do is log out of your Google account. Log in to your YouTube account on a different phone and try watching a video. This should resolve any problems with offline videos not playing correctly on your desktop.

To log out from Google: Go to Settings > Account > Sign Out, and then verify that you want to leave this page. Click on the “sign out” option, once there is no longer an active session.

Clearing cache

The issue with trying to clear your cache is the fact that it doesn’t permanently delete anything; rather, it simply tells Browser to no longer utilize the available primary ways of storing those data. Open chrome or any other browser and Select “More Tools,” then click on “Clear browsing data and cookies”. If it does not show up in your menu bar, then clear it from the device memory option.

Restarting the computer

If you’re having problems with YouTube and your computer, the first thing you should do is reboot your pc. This can enable application problems and other issues that may be creating the problem. The simplest way to restart your computer is that hold down the power button. 

If this does not work, start pressing down both buttons on either side of the screen for 15 seconds, or until the pc completely shut down.

Restarting router

To restart the router, follow these steps:

1. Remove all the devices which are connected to the router.
2. Unplug all cables from the router and wait for five minutes and then plug in those cables again.

Using google chrome’s default theme

Disabling all of my extensions

Disabling the extensions can sometimes solve the problem. You can do this through the Chrome settings option or by going to chrome:/extensions/ and then clicking on the Disable button.

Resetting the chrome settings

1. Go to youtube.
2. Tap on the profile menu on youtube.
3. Select the “Turn on incognito mode” option from the profile menu on youtube.
4. Now, normal mode is switched to incognito mode.
5. Check whether the same issue is here or whether it is solved or not.

Check firewall or antivirus settings

Go to the Control Panel and select the Security option to check your firewall settings. Then, select Windows Defender Firewall with Advanced Security and restart the computer. Go to youtube and check whether the issue is solved or not.
